School wears red to celebrate Wrexham promotion

A school has marked Wrexham's promotion to League One by swapping school uniform for the club's famous red colours.
Ysgol Bryn Alyn in Gwersyllt is one of the closest schools to the Racecourse Ground and pupils regularly attend matches with their families.
Dozens of children wore Wrexham shirts or scarves to celebrate the club's 6-0 win over Forest Green Rovers, which saw them earn back-to-back promotions.
Head teacher Adele Slinn said the school wanted to celebrate and show support to the team.
"We're a community school. We celebrate our area and our culture and the football club is absolutely a part of that," she said.
Pupils Rhys and Archie both attended the game on Saturday.
Rhys said when the final whistle blew, he was "overwhelmed" but it was a "magical moment."
"Wrexham is literally a gigantic community of people who follow the club and events around it. Whatever happens, impacts and affects everyone and it's just such a beautiful sight to see here today," he said.
Archie was sitting behind the goal during the match.
"As soon as that final whistle went it was just chaos and after that everyone was on the pitch.
"There were flames and everyone around the players going mad because we're going up back-to-back," he said.
Keira was also at the game and said she was very happy to see them get promoted.
She said: "As the final whistle went you could not see the pitch it was flooded with people that quickly.
"Now hopefully Stockport don't win the rest of their games and we win the rest and then we get top of the league."
Leah was following the match at home with her family, celebrating the result and the promotion.
She said the school was buzzing and everyone has been talking about it during her lessons.
