A teenage boy was arrested after a man was stabbed during a fight.

Police were called to Sudley Walk, Bedford, shortly after 19:00 GMT on Monday to reports of four men fighting, with two brandishing a knife and a baseball bat.

A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with multiple stab wounds described as non-life threatening.

The teenager was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

He has since been bailed.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward as they try to trace two suspects seen fleeing the scene towards Carisbrooke Way.

The men were described as wearing dark tracksuits, trainers and face coverings.
