Three held in murder probe over body in canal

Three people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in a canal.
Police said her body was found in a stretch of water near Ryders Green Road in West Bromwich on Tuesday and a post-mortem examination is being carried out to work out how she died.
Two men, one in his 60s and the other in his 20s, were taken into custody, along with a woman in her 40s.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said detectives were reviewing CCTV footage and making door-to-door inquiries as part of their investigation.
