A well-known road in the Peak District is set to close for three days to allow for repair work to be carried out.
The A54 Cat and Fiddle will be closed from its junction with the A53 to the Derbyshire county boundary from 09:00 to 15:00 GMT on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for patching repairs and lining works.
The county council said due to the recent cold weather interim repairs and small-scale resurfacing would be done ahead of "a bigger resurfacing scheme" planned for later in the year.
The authority said a signed diversion would be in place and advised motorists to allow extra time for their journey.
The road, which sweeps high into the Peak District with spectacular views, is famous among driving enthusiasts due to its tricky bends.
However this has also seen it named as one of the most dangerous roads in the UK.
