Family attraction dating back to 1940s up for sale

A family attraction in Cornwall has been put on the market for the first time since 1984 with a price tag of £725,000.
Polperro Model Village dates back to the late 1940s and is the pride and joy of Lee Gregory, who has maintained it ever since his late father first purchased it after moving from Wolverhampton to retire.
But, after 40 years, the 58-year-old has said he and his wife were keen to try "something else" and let someone else take on the business, which also includes a full-sized house.
He said: "We want to do something else before we get too old and it's time to let someone else take over."
Recalling time as its owner, he said: "I've loved it. I've loved the maintenance of it, keeping the models and adding new models.
"I've loved it and also living in Polperro. You can't beat living in this village."
He added: "It's going to be hard to walk by and know it's not mine, but I'm excited to see someone else come in with new ideas."
But his decision to sell up comes with a word of warning for the new owners.
He simply said: "Just keep it as it is - keep it as Polperro Model Village."
As well as the business, the new owners will also get their own full-sized house to live in the full-sized village.
A brochure from Carla Jones Estate Agents said the model village building also had "a lovely sun terrace where the new owners can take full advantage of what is on offer here".
