Two men charged with rape after incidents at hotel

Two men have been charged with sexual offences following incidents at a hotel in Crewe, police said.

Jack Turley, 25, from Beswick Drive in Crewe and John Dawson, 36, from Ernest Street in Crewe have been charged with rape, Cheshire Constabulary said.

The offences are alleged to have happened between 8 January and 11 January at a hotel in Beswick Drive.

Both men appeared in Warrington Magistrates Court and were remanded in custody. They are due to appear at Chester Crown Court on 13 February.

Mr Dawson was also charged with causing a female to engage in a penetrative sexual activity, assault and threatening to share photograph or film of a person in an intimate state, police added.
