Appeal after motorcyclist dies in crash

A motorcyclist has died following a crash in East Yorkshire.

The crash involved a red Honda CBR900 and happened at about 09:30 BST on Friday on Hull Road in Aldborough, near Hornsea.

Humberside Police said the bike had left the road after narrowly avoiding a Mini Cooper.

The rider, a 45-year-old man, was airlifted to hospital but died from his injuries. His family has been informed, the force added.

Witnesses are asked to contact police.
