A fire at a pub owned by the former mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Conor McGregor is being treated as criminal damage by Gardaí (Irish police).

Emergency services attended the fire at the Black Forge Inn on the Drimnagh Road, Crumlin, at about 03:00 local time.

The fire was extinguished by Dublin Fire Brigade.

No injuries have been reported.

Gardaí said the scene was preserved for a technical examination which has now been completed, and investigations are ongoing.
