Firefighters tackled a blaze which began in a garden and spread to a bungalow, garage and van.

Four crews from Peterborough and Huntingdon were called to Morpeth Road, Peterborough, at about 14:20 BST on Friday.

They were able to control the blaze, which had also affected two other gardens, by about 17:30, a Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said.

The site was inspected for hotspots in the evening and crews will return later for further checks, they added.
