An inquest into the deaths of two men who died on holiday in Portugal has been adjourned pending more information from police.

King Edonmi, 29, and Mo Liasu, 27, from Ipswich, died less than 24 hours after arriving in Albufeira on 15 July.

The inquest opened earlier at Suffolk Coroner's Court, but was immediately adjourned pending receipt of outstanding evidence from Portuguese authorities, Suffolk County Council confirmed.

The court heard earlier how the two men were found in the swimming pool unresponsive, the East Anglian Daily Times, external reported. A pre-inquest hearing was scheduled for 26 February.
