Man stabbed in targeted attack, police say

A man has been hospitalised after being stabbed in a "targeted attack", police have said.

It happened at Squires Gate Lane, Blackpool, at about 19:00 BST on Wednesday.

Officers attended and found a man in his 30s "had been assaulted and suffered stab injuries".

Squires Gate Lane is currently closed between Starr Gate and Stoney Hill Avenue. Police have asked for any witnesses to contact them.
