Police have made a fresh appeal for witnesses in a murder investigation after a man suffered a cardiac arrest.

Gary Hutchings, 54, was believed to have been attacked on the same day in Packington Place, Leamington Spa, on 28 July, Warwickshire Police said.

They added they were looking for information relating to people in Packington Place or on the route to Leicester Street between 14:00-14:30 BST on the day.

Three men, aged 22, 29, and 39, who were arrested on suspicion of murder earlier this month, have since been released on bail.

The force said a post-mortem examination proved inconclusive and further tests would take place.

"Our thoughts remain with Gary’s family at this challenging time and as they start to try and come to terms with his death," said Det Ch Insp Collette O’Keefe.

"We’re still looking into several avenues and are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was a witness and hasn’t already spoken to us."

An online portal, external was also set up by the force for people to send in information.
