PC denies sexual assault of teenage girl

A West Yorkshire Police officer has pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting a teenage girl.

PC Mark Ostiadel, 44, appeared at Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday, charged with a total of five offences.

He pleaded not guilty to two counts of assaulting a girl under the age of 13 by touching, two counts of sexual assault on a female, and one count of causing a child to engage in sexual activity.

He was given conditional bail until his trial, which is due to start on on 17 January 2028.

West Yorkshire Police said the officer, who was based in operational support, was currently suspended from duty.
