Channel Islands airlines say check-in issues fixed

Two airlines based in the Channel Islands have confirmed their systems are back up and running after three days of disruption.

Both Aurigny and Blue Islands airlines had experienced problems with their booking systems due to a global technical outage which began on Tuesday.

On Thursday evening Aurigny said the problem had been resolved and on Friday Blue Islands said its systems were fully functional.

Both airlines thanked their respective customers for their patience during the outage which affected more than 50 airlines globally.
