Tributes paid to man, 18, killed in crash

Tributes have been paid to an 18-year-old man who died in a crash in Devon.

Mali Dubois, from Bradworthy, died at the scene of the crash near Otterton in the early hours of 29 April.

His family described him as a man with such a "bright future", who was "kind and gentle" and that he would be missed by everyone that knew him.

They added: "We will so miss Mali, that twinkle in his eyes and that cheeky smile. Life will never be the same."

Devon and Cornwall Police said inquiries were ongoing in relation to the single-vehicle crash which happened on Pinn Lane.

Officers said an 18-year-old man, from the Wadebridge area was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink. He has been released on bail, pending further inquiries.

A second man, aged 18, from the Bodmin area, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has been de-arrested, while he remains in hospital, police added.

Witnesses or those with dashcam footage are being urged to contact the force.
