Road closed due to unstable church

People have been asked to avoid the area

A road in Leicester city centre has been shut by emergency services due to an "unstable" part of a church.
Highcross Street was closed to traffic between Vaughan Way and Sanvey Gate at about 17:20 BST, said Leicestershire Police, and remains shut for public safety.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said the closure could be lengthy while the All Saints Church building was made safe.
People have been asked to avoid the area around the church, currently the home of Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience.

The fire service has been working to make sure the building is safe
