Met Office issues yellow warning for heavy rain

The Met Office warned there could be some flooding due to heavy rain on Friday and into Saturday morning

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for "heavy and prolonged" rain on Friday across the region.
The warning is in place from 06:00 GMT on Friday for 24 hours - and covers the entirety of the East of England as well as Northamptonshire.
People are being warned to expect some flooding and disruption, including power cuts, poor driving conditions and possible delays on public transport.
The Met Office warned that between 30 and 55mm of rain was expected, but some places could see 60 to 80mm, along with "strong easterly winds".
