The minister for infrastructure has approved the move of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Jersey to a more "fit for purpose" location.

Constable Andy Jehan approved the transaction, through a ministerial decision, external, for the service to renew the lease for the Bermuda House on Green Street, St Helier.

It said there was a risk the service could not "function" after September 2026 without "adequate facilities".

"Bermuda House will provide a more 'fit for purpose' facility for CAMHS through until 2036," the decision said.
