Rapist with history of violence to women jailed
- Published
A rapist with a history of violence against women has been jailed for 10 and a half years.
Shane Youll, 37, was found guilty by jurors at Teesside Crown Court of multiple offences including rape and sexual assault.
Judge Joanne Kidd said Youll, of Cotswold Terrace in Stanley, County Durham, was motivated by his "warped views of women" and drug addiction.
The judge said Youll showed no insight into his offending, which was intended to "humiliate and degrade" and cause fear to his vulnerable victim.
