Sheffield murder charge man appears in court

A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a 35-year-old in Sheffield.

Bradley Hollis was found stabbed inside a property on Barlow Drive, Stannington, early on Sunday morning and died a short time later.

Michael James, 44, of Barlow Drive, Stannington, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates' Court charged with murder.

He was further remanded into custody and is due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on Wednesday.

South Yorkshire Police said the scene remains cordoned off while investigations continued.

The force urged anyone with information to get in touch with them.
