Train lines reopen after signalling fault

Train lines between Birmingham New Street and Wolverhampton have reopened following disruption due to earlier signalling problems.
West Midlands Railway said a fault with the signalling system on Tuesday morning meant trains running through the two stations might be cancelled or delayed by up to 30 minutes.
At about 14:20, National Rail said the incident had been cleared, external and trains were no longer disrupted.
Passengers had been urged to check their journeys before travelling, with tickets being accepted on some alternative train or bus routes.
