Three-vehicle crash leaves two men in hospital

Two men were taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash on the A7 north of Langholm.

Emergency services were called out to the accident involving a car, a van and a lorry at about 12:30 on Tuesday.

A 48-year-old man was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary and a 57-year-old man taken to the Borders General Hospital.

The road was closed for several hours for crash investigations and police said their inquiries were still ongoing.
