Two drivers have been injured after a crash on a bridge over the A38 in Devon.

Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to a two-car crash on Clay Lane in Chudleigh Knighton at 10:15 BST on Wednesday.

Police said road closures were put in place on Clay Lane and the A38 slip road while the incident, which also caused a blockage to traffic on the dual carriageway, was dealt with.

A woman has injuries not believed to be life-threatening or changing while another driver has minor injuries, the force added.

At 12:30, police said Clay Lane remained closed but the A38 slip road had reopened.
