A dealer whose drugs fell out of his underwear during a police custody search has been jailed for four years.
Luke Hewitt, 32, was stopped by Nottinghamshire Police in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, when intelligence linked a car associated with him when he was wanted on recall to prison in November 2021.
The force said a lock knife was found in his waistband and eight small deal bags of white powder - which turned out to be cocaine - were located behind the weapon.
A wrap of a synthetic cannabinoid fell out of his underwear during the search.
Hewitt, formerly of Thurstone Furlong, in Chellaston, Derby, was also found in possession of two mobile phones that were seized and analysed.
The devices were found to contain messages indicative of supplying controlled drugs, including a dealer list of names.
He pleaded guilty to supplying a Class A drug, namely cocaine, possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession of a Class B drug and possession of a knife in a public place.
Hewitt was sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court on Thursday.
