A teenage cyclist has died in a collision with a car.

It happened at about 10:30 GMT on Saturday on Blacksnape Road, Hoddlesden, Darwen.

Emergency services attended but the 18-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, Lancashire Police said.

The force said an investigation was under way, and appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage to contact them.
