Det Sgt Barry Haines, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "I'd like to thank members of the public who have already assisted our investigation into this serious incident.

"Our inquiries are continuing and we now want to identify the man pictured.

"We believe people who know this man will recognise him from these images."

The force added it had stepped up patrols in the area to "reassure the community" bit did not believe there was a wider risk to the public.
