Police are investigating after two women were attacked by two men at a bar in Nottingham city centre.

Officers said the men threw pint glasses at the women's faces just before 02:30 BST at Billy Bootleggers, in High Pavement, on 28 May.

Both of the women, who are aged in their 20s, required hospital treatment, including stitches.

Nottinghamshire Police said the attack happened after the men had approached the women's table and attempted to engage them in conversation.

Following a photo appeal on Friday morning, police said they had identified two men they wanted to speak to about the attack.
