The family of a man who died after his motorbike crashed with a Land Rover have described him in a tribute as "larger than life".

The crash, involving a blue Land Rover Discovery and a red Ducati, happened on the B2177 Winchester Road in Bishop's Waltham, Hampshire, on Thursday shortly before 14:15 BST.

Simon Andrews from Bishops Waltham was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a tribute, the 64-year-old's family said he was an engineer and singer in local band, Somethin' Else. They said: "We know he rocked your world and we also want to express how you all made his life so much richer."

The tribute continued: "He was full of life, the mad fool on top of anything he could climb to sing to you all.

"The entertainer, the biker... he was also, our dad, our grandad, a devoted husband and brother. To our wonderful Simon, larger than life, always and forever in our hearts, he truly is Somethin' Else."

Police are appealing to anyone with any information or relevant CCTV, dashcam footage to come forward.
