Woman critically injured after Penryn collision

West Street. It is a quiet narrow lane lined with houses and on one side a row of cars are parked, with a police car parked at the front of it. There is a pub called The Thirsty Scholar that has window boxes of flowers and a chalkboard advertising a Sunday roast.

Police said the incident took place at about 18:50 BST on Saturday

A woman in her 80s is in a critical condition after a crash in Penryn.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the pedestrian was seriously injured after a collision with what was reported to be an electric motorbike on West Street, at about 18:50 BST on Saturday.

The force said a 23-year-old man from Falmouth, a 24-year-old man from Penryn and a 16-year-old boy also from Penryn have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Police have appealed to the public for witnesses and information.

Police have asked anyone with information about the incident to come forward
