Rollerbowl, a tenpin bowling alley in Inverness, is to close after 36 years in business.

The 24-lane sports facility in the Culduthel area of the city employs about 25 staff.

The site also offers an arcade, pool hall, diner and bar.

Speaking to the Inverness Courier , externalnewspaper, its owner cited new competition and challenging conditions as the reasons behind the planned closure.
