CCTV appeal after racial abuse and theft report
- Published
Police have released an image of a man who they believe could help their investigation into racially-aggravated public order and theft offences.
A man was captured on CCTV entering a shop on King Street in Plymouth at about 17:10 BST on Friday 16 August.
When there was an issue with a transaction the man used offensive language with racial connotations before threatening to attack the employee.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said the suspect left the store but later returned to steal beer.
The man was naked from the waist up and was wearing knee-length dark grey shorts.
