Police have introduced extra stop and search powers following a fight that involved weapons.
Thames Valley Police said three men were involved in what they described as an "altercation" on Spearing Road in High Wycombe, at about 20:00 BST on Sunday.
A Section 60 order under the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, was in place in the Castlefield area and the order was due to end at 20:53 on Monday.
Police can stop and search people and their vehicles even if they are not suspected of committing a crime.
"If you are stopped, please do not be worried as it doesn't mean that you're in trouble," said a police spokesperson.
"The order temporarily enhances powers for officers to prevent further violence, meaning they can stop and search anyone in this area."
