Three arrested after man injured in attack

An initial attack took place in Chestnut Avenue, Midway, police said

Three people have been arrested after a man suffered injuries to his hand during an attack in Swadlincote.
Derbyshire Police said it was called to reports of an assault in Chestnut Avenue, in Midway, at about 20:45 BST on 16 October.
A second incident then took place near the One Stop shop in Wellwood Road, Newhall, but no-one was injured.
The force said a man in his 30s was taken to hospital but had since been discharged.
A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and criminal damage.
A man in his 20s was detained on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, and a woman in her 30s was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.
They have all since been bailed.
Detectives said it was an isolated matter and were appealing for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them.
