Blackpool's "resilient" locals will bounce back from unrest in the town, its leader says

Blackpool's resilience will mean it quickly gets "back to normal" after violent disorder broke out in the town during protests on Saturday, its council leader has said.
Bottles were thrown at police, as officers struggled to contain almost 1,000 demonstrators in the town.
Lancashire Police said it made more than a dozen arrests over the protest, which coincided with the resort's annual Rebellion punk festival.
Lynn Williams said a "minority" had caused the issues in the town and the town's residents were a "resilient lot" who would return to normality and "continue to welcome everyone".
"It's not Blackpool, it's not our people, it's not our town," she said.
