A man has died following a collision between two cars.

Essex Police has appealed for more information after the crash near the village of Layer Marney,

A 30-year-old man died at the scene at the junction of Maldon Road and Roundbush Road on Thursday at 13:20 BST.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said the man's family was being supported by specialist officers and a file would be prepared for the coroner.

The force said officers were looking for anyone with more information or dashcam footage to help them with inquiries.
