Dozens of firefighters from two counties are at the scene of a "large barn fire" at a stock car racing stadium.

The blaze broke out at about 17:31 BST on Tuesday at Mildenhall Stadium, Hayland Drove, West Row, in Suffolk.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was in a storage unit containing machinery. No injuries have been reported.

In a post on Facebook, external, firefighters advised people to avoid the area.

In total, 18 fire appliances from across Suffolk and Cambridgeshire were called to the blaze.

Brandon Fire Station posted on social media, external to say crews were "working hard" to bring the fire under control.

It said firefighters would remain on scene overnight.
