The boy is unharmed and is with his family, police say.

The man, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted child abduction, is helping police with their investigation, Sussex Police said.

It is believed to be an isolated incident, but there will be an increased police presence to provide reassurance, a police spokesperson said.
