City centre parade to celebrate armed forces
Members of the public have been invited to attend the parade

A parade will take place through Leicester city centre to celebrate Armed Forces Day.
It will take place on Saturday 29 June starting in Belgrave Gate at 11:00 BST and pass by the Clock Tower, up High Street and to Jubilee Square for a special service.
Some 250 veterans, cadets, reservists, and serving personnel will take part along with the Seaforth Highlanders band plus military dogs and horses.
Members of the public have been invited to attend.
A flag raising ceremony will be held as part of the Armed Forces Day celebrations
Ahead of Armed Services Day, a flag raising ceremony is to be held at County Hall, in Glenfield, at 10:30 BST on Monday 24 June.
It will be attended by veterans, cadets and civic dignitaries, and will use an Armed Forces Day flag by June Sisson, who served as a communications specialist in the Women’s Royal Air Force (WRAF).
Leicestershire County Council chairman, Joe Orson, said: “It is a great honour and privilege to be part of this national event to honour our armed forces and to show our appreciation for their vital service and dedication."
