Gang charged after duo seriously injured in attack

Ten men have appeared in court following the "targeted attack"

Ten men have been charged with wounding with intent after a man and woman in their 60s sustained serious injuries in an attack.
Gloucestershire Police described the incident, which happened on 5 April on Market Place in the Forest of Dean, as a "targeted attack".
The male victim was left with a bleed on the brain and a fractured jaw, while the woman suffered fractures to her ribs and wrist.
Nine of the men are also charged with violent disorder.
The ten men are:
Ashley Lauterdale, 34, from Gloucester
Billy Timmins, 26, from Tipton
Darren Rimmer, 52, from Gloucester
Joshua Bell, 31, from Gloucester
Kyle Matthews, 27, from Gloucester
Luke Cole, 29, from Gloucester
Mark Gibson, 55, from Knutsford
Paul Price, 56, from Newport
Robert Greenacre, 34, from Wokingham
Jordan Peers, 30, from Wrexham
Mr Peers is charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit wounding with intent, while the other nine are also charged with one count of violent disorder.
Police say they have identified a number of further suspects, eight of whom they believe live overseas.
All ten men charged appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
One was remanded in custody following the hearing, while five others were remanded following a bail application hearings at Bristol Crown Court on Thursday.
The other four have been released on bail and are all scheduled to appear at Bristol Crown Court in September.
