Four people held after man, 21, stabbed to death

Four people have been arrested after a man was stabbed to death in Derby.

Officers were called to Stenson Road at 23:45 BST on Sunday, when a 21-year-old was found injured and died at the scene.

Derbyshire Police said four people had been detained and remained in custody. The force did not say what they had been arrested on suspicion of.

Officers remained at the scene overnight before re-opening the road on Monday afternoon.

Police said it was also investigating an incident that took place at The Oaklands pub, in Oaklands Avenue, Littleover, earlier on Sunday evening.

Officers were called to the pub at 18:00 to reports of men carrying knives.

Police said no-one was injured at this location but have appealed for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage in the area of Oaklands Avenue to come forward.
