Curry house bans tracksuits, hoodies and balaclavas

A curry house has banned customers from wearing hoodies and tracksuits on Fridays and Saturdays in case they "put off" other diners.
Mohammed Siddique, 35, the owner of Robby's Indian Dining, in Townsend Place, Kingswinford, brought in the new rule after noticing groups of parties wearing casual clothes and even balaclavas.
He said the restaurant, which has been open since 1988, is "part of the furniture" in the town and he wanted to keep up its long-standing reputation.
Mr Siddique added that the only exception will be if people need to wear more casual clothes due to having disabilities, but will still need to get "prior management approval".
"We want our guests to feel comfortable and not put off from eating here if they see customers wearing tracksuits, hoodies and even balaclavas," he said.
"Many customers visit for special occasions, and maintaining a smart dress standard ensures that everyone enjoys the same elevated experience."
