Teenagers kick man in head during beach assault

Police have asked for witnesses after a man was repeatedly kicked in the head in an assault at a beach near St Austell on Friday.

Devon and Cornwall Police said a man had been verbally abused before being assaulted by two teenagers at Crinnis Beach near Carylon Bay at about 17:45 BST.

The injured man was taken to hospital but the force said his injuries were not life-changing.

Officers have urged anyone with information to contact them.
