'Human remains' found in field

Police and fire crews were called yesterday morning

Suspected human remains have been found in a field on the outskirts of Bristol, police have confirmed.
Avon and Somerset Police was called to Lyde Green just before midday on Tuesday, with fire crews also in attendance.
Forensic vehicles have been seen at Apple Grove, a cul-de-sac next to a green space and a lake.
Police said the remains are yet to be identified and the death is currently being treated as unexplained, adding that further searches would be carried out later.
