Arson arrest after flat fire

A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a fire in a flat in Nottingham.
Three officers suffered from the effects of smoke after attempting to rescue a man from the property in Aberdeen Street, Sneinton, at about 01:15 GMT on Tuesday.
A number of residents were evacuated from their homes, Nottinghamshire Police said.
A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of arson and criminal damage.
