Teen suffers life-threatening injuries in crash

An 18-year-old man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a serious crash in Brighton, police have said.
Sussex Police said officers were called to a report of a dark blue Ford Fiesta hitting a parked car and a van in Braybon Avenue shortly after 05:20 GMT on Sunday.
The teenager, who was a passenger in the Fiesta, remains in a critical condition while other people who were in the car have minor injuries, according to police.
The driver of the vehicle, a 19-year-old man, was not injured and was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving over the prescribed limit of drugs, police said.
