A cyclist suffered life-changing injuries in a crash in Groby, police have said.

Leicestershire Police said the crash, which involved a cyclist and a blue Skoda Fabia, happened at the junction of Sacheverell Way and Groby Road at about 14:25 GMT on Tuesday.

On Thursday, the force said the cyclist remained in hospital in a serious condition.

The driver of the Skoda Fabia was not injured, police added.

Anyone who saw the crash, or who has dashcam footage, is urged to contact the police.
