A man has been charged with assault after three men were attacked in a Birmingham bar.

The victims, aged 30, 31 and 34, were assaulted at a pub on Hurst Street in the city centre on Friday evening.

The attack occurred before the city's two-day Pride celebrations began and West Midlands Police said it was being treated as a hate crime.

A 23-year-old man from Birmingham has been charged with three counts of assault and is due before city magistrates on Monday.
