A former teacher at a West Sussex private school has been charged with child sex offences relating to six victims who were pupils there.

Nick Baldock has been accused of one charge of sexual assault, two counts of publishing an obscene article and three counts of knowingly disclosing personal data without consent, between August 2021 and December 2022.

The 46-year-old, formerly of Lancing College, is no longer employed there or living in the immediate area, Sussex Police said.

He has also been charged with three counts of making an indecent photograph of a child, which do not relate to any current or former pupils at the college.

Mr Baldock is expected to appear at Worthing Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, police said.

Lancing College is a co-educational boarding and day school for 13 to 18 year olds.
