Man arrested following serious five-vehicle crash

A man has been arrested in connection with a serious crash that has shut a road in Derbyshire.
The A6096 Ladywood Road through Dale Abbey, near Ilkeston, is currently closed after a crash involving five vehicles just before 12:30 BST on Friday.
Derbyshire Police said one person had been taken to hospital but the severity of their injuries was not yet known.
A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the incident and was taken to hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, the force added.
The road remains closed between the Arbour Hill junction and the junction with Cat and Fiddle Lane, while vehicle recovery and collision investigation work is carried out.
Bus operator trentbarton said the Ilkeston Flyer service was unable to serve stops between Kirk Hallam and Spondon due to the closure, with delays of 55 minutes for passengers.
