Teddy Swims has been announced as the first headline act for Lancashire's 2026 Lytham Festival.

The Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter will be joined by his band Freak Freely on the opening night of the five day event on 1 July.

Lytham Festival co-founder Peter Taylor said he was delighted to bring the American "vocal powerhouse", who has had multi-platinum hits with Lose Control and The Door from his debut album to the Fylde coast.

He said more headline acts will be revealed "very soon" for the five-day festival at Lytham Green on 1-5 July.

Swims will be supported by breakout vocalist and songwriter Lauren Spencer Smith and multi-instrumentalist Jordan Rakei on the opening night.

The annual open-air music event, which is celebrating its 15th event in 2026, attracts more than 100,000 people to Lytham.

Fans can access to the festival's pre-sale tickets from 17:00 BST on Friday, while general sale tickets are available at 10:00 on Saturday.
